Henri Albert Adam

The Genevan artist painted miniatures and porcelain pictures in his hometown before emigrating to Russia. From 1807, he worked for the imperial manufactory. He created books of patterns for painting on porcelain and also worked as a teacher. Works that are signed only “Adam” are sometimes attributed to him, but sometimes to his brother Isaac, who was two years younger.
