This 7th period exhibition from the internationally important Tansey Collection focuses on portrait miniatures from the time of the French ruler Napoleon Bonaparte. A total of 147 works are on display in the exhibition's sophisticated presentation.

The German-American couple Lieselotte and Ernest Tansey laid the foundation for their collection more than fifty years ago. Over time, their passion developed into one of the most extensive and qualitatively significant collections of European portrait miniatures. After the death of the collectors, the collection was transferred to "The Tansey Miniatures Foundation", which they established in 2016.
