Anne Wetherill

Wetherill painted landscapes, portraits and miniatures. She exhibited her works at the Society of Artists in 1773, at the Free Society of Artists in 1782, and at the Royal Academy in 1783. She was accepted as a member of the academy in Lille in 1780 and exhibited her paintings in Lille in 1780 and 1781. She lived in Paris in c. 1785 and inscribed her address on the back of a miniature: "A. Wetherill - / Rue Grenell - St honore / N° 65 Maison de / Mr d'Lorme / a Paris".
