Adalbert Suchy

Suchy was a student of Jakob Matthias Schmutzer at the Academy in Vienna starting in 1802 and was awarded the Gundel Prize in 1806. Between 1820 and 1840, he exhibited miniatures and pastels here. The painter Maria Antonia Suchy is his daughter. His clientele included members of the imperial family and numerous artists, including Adalbert Stifter and Johann Strauss the father.
