Peter Eduard Stroely

After periods spent in Paris and various German towns, Stroely lived in Rome and Naples (1792). In 1796, he moved to Vienna, and by the end of that year, to St. Petersburg, where he worked until 1801. He lived in London from 1803 to 1807 and from 1819 to 1826.
